The Ukiyo Mission

At Ukiyo, we believe that what we create should give back to the places and environments that inspire us. Clothing is not just something we wear; it is also a way to leave a positive trace behind.

For every shirt sold, Ukiyo donates 10% of proceeds to environmental organizations actively protecting and conserving our planet and its native wildlife. We currently support OPAS PR, dedicated to preserving Puerto Rico’s natural habitats and educating future generations in conservation; World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world’s leading conservation organizations working to protect wildlife and restore ecosystems globally; and Friends of Our Florida Reefs, a nonprofit committed to safeguarding Florida’s coral reef ecosystem and promoting reef stewardship through education and community action.

Each design is tied to a specific place, moment, or landscape, and the donation from that shirt goes toward protecting the environment that inspired it. A piece rooted in Puerto Rico supports conservation efforts in Puerto Rico. A shirt inspired by Florida’s coastline contributes to protecting its reefs and marine life. As Ukiyo grows and moves into new places, the same idea will carry forward with each new collection.

This approach allows Ukiyo to stay connected to each location, not just aesthetically, but in action. Every purchase becomes part of a larger effort to preserve natural beauty, protect wildlife, and support the places that shape our designs.

Our mission is simple: create thoughtfully, wear mindfully, and give back meaningfully.
